The Cannabis Control Commission is the state agency that oversees the fledgling legal marijuana industry in Massachusetts.
It is now housed in temporary offices in Boston’s Financial District and its lease there ends in May 2019.
It is expected that the Cannabis Control Commission will bring to Union Station as many as 50 employees and additional foot traffic.
The agency is looking for a 10-year lease for its new headquarters.
The Cannabis Control Commission will become the first state agency to have its main office in Worcester.
