4. Westport Community Forum on the Inclusion of Cannabis Agriculture
MONDAY

In November 2016, a majority of Massachusetts voters approved adult use (a.k.a. recreational) marijuana, including 52.8% of Westport residents. On May 7th, the Town of Westport narrowly voted to implement a ban cannabis establishments, including cannabis farms by less than 40 votes at 118-82.
The farming community of Westport stands to benefit immensely from the cultivation sector of this booming new industry. Local residents are invited to this public informational session to learn more about the importance of the inclusion of cannabis agriculture in Westport, MA and how we can participate in this economic opportunity.
