1. WERS Wicked Good Festival

Join MRCC at the Wicked Good Festival! Free and open to the public, this community event on Boston Common will be fun for music lovers of all ages. Plan to join us on August 18th for our first ever and totally FREE Wicked Good Festival and RSVP.

2. Singles Canna Mixer

Join us August 4th for a Singles Canna Mixer! Come meet like minded people as we play a variety of mixer games and ice breakers. Refreshments and food will be provided. This is a 21+ event and as always BYOC!

Guest Requirements:
-You must be 21+ to attend this workshop. Please bring your ID as they will be checked at the door. You do not need to be a MA MMJ to attend this workshop.
– Guests may bring their own cannabis for personal use. Please be mindful of MA State Laws for personal possession amounts.
– All Guests must pre-register through the Ticket link to reserve your space. Upon arrival, each guest must sign a waiver, allowing one-time access to the social club.

3. Braintree Community Discussion with The GreenNurse Group

Are you ready for adult recreational cannabis to open in Massachusetts on July 1st? If you are concerned, then this is an informational session for you. We share your concerns and we would like to invite you to come have a conversation with us to sort through the maze of information and misinformation on cannabis.

Braintree resident, Sherri Tutkus is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years of clinical experience. She is founder of GreenNurse Group – a nonprofit organization of dedicated nurses and health professionals who effect positive change in the community through education, advocacy, and public policy generation.

Dale Buckman is a board-certified adult gerontological primary care nurse practitioner specializing in the field of cannabinoid medicine. She is a graduate and guest lecturer at Boston College School of Nursing and a member of several elite nursing organizations. Sought out by community organizations and educational institutions to inform about cannabis as medicine.

The presentation will be focused on the adult use cannabis as it will be rolling out across the state of Massachusetts. Nurses are the most trusted profession in the world. Come have a conversation with us. We will provide a thorough review of the risks and benefits associated with cannabis use for the purpose of finding reasonable solutions to perceived and real risks.

4. South Coast Farm-Sesh

SATURDAY
August 26 @ 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM  
Location: TBA for registered attendees (South Coast, MA)
Cost: $30

The South Coast Farm-Sesh is for like minded adults to gather and discuss the cannabis industry freely and openly. Ticket cost includes meal. First 50 people to arrive receive a goody-bag.  This is a 21+ private event, identification required at entrance. Many local vendors will be in attendance showcasing their products! B-Y-O-C (bring your own cannabis). 

Hosted by Between The Rows, LLC. Between The Rows LLC is a craft cannabis co-op that has been approved for economic empowerment through the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission.

5. MRCC Monthly Webinar: Social Equity Program

THURSDAY
August 30 @ 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Cost for non-members: $25 
Cost for MRCC Concerned Citizens Members: FREE

The Social Equity Program, implemented by the Cannabis Control Commission is designed to build a pathway for individuals and businesses to enter the cannabis industry, regardless of their desired specialty within the industry. It shall provide professional and technical services as well as mentoring for individuals and businesses facing systemic barriers. Do you qualify for this assistance? Attend the MRCC Monthly Webinar from the comfort of your home or office for an in-depth overview and understanding of the Social Equity Program and how it can benefit your business. This webinar will be led by Joe Gilmore, Co-Founder and Community Outreach Director for the Massachusetts Recreational Consumer Council. Questions will be answered at the end of the presentation.
