2. Ellementa Melrose: Cannabis and CBD for Pain Relief

3. The Intersection of Cannabis & Equity: Walkthrough Edition

F.U.N. - Fierce Urgency of Now: Energizing Young Professionals of Color to Unlock Boston’s Promise
Hosted by the Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) in partnership with City Awake's Fierce Urgency of Now Festival 2019 #FUNinBOS.
Millennials of Color are invited to learn about the adult-use licensing process and meet Commission representatives who will share helpful resources and provide technical assistance to those interested in securing licensure in the cannabis industry.
Participants should expect to network with other millennials who want to own and operate licensed adult-use cannabis businesses and participate in a Commission led a walkthrough of the adult-use application and the subsequent inspection process.

If you've ever complained about big businesses gobbling up the cannabis industry, or a lack of people of color and women in leadership positions, or that the criminal expungement process is too slow, or the costs of recreational weed & taxes being too high--it's time to SHOW UP! As a citizen and a constituent, you are entitled to make your voice heard and speak your grievances directly to the Cannabis Control Commission. Tell them WHAT kind of industry you want and HOW you want them to create it. The Commission meets regularly in public locations throughout Boston. It's never too late to come in person and advocate for yourself!

5. The Boston Freedom Rally

This is our 30th year for the Boston Freedom Rally held annually on the Boston Common the third weekend in September!
Why: to provide cannabis education and practice civil disobedience.
