Public Training for The Weed Industry

Our event is one week from today!

THIS IS OUR INDUSTRY. LETS SHAPE IT with our testimonies. MRCC is dedicating time to residents who want help forming their testimonies for the listening tour. Come learn and meet other people in your industry FOR FREE!

The Cannabis Control Commission will start its public listening tour on Monday, February 5th in Pittsfield and end Tuesday, February 13th in Roxbury.

Listening tours are YOUR chance to voice important recommendations to existing regulations (confirm which session you’ll attend athttps://goo.gl/forms/2WLHLSTm9uecvyO32). We need to make sure these regulations benefit the community through reinvestment. The Commonwealth must promote lower barriers to entry into the industry to make sure our industry benefits the community and not only big businesses.

Our existing licensing tier can be better and can include accessible licenses like 1-Day and 3-Day event licenses as a way to promote generational wealth in our communities who currently can’t afford a brick and Mortar business. If you haven’t signed our petition to allow 1-Day or 3-Day cannabis events or BYOC (Bring Your Own Cannabis) for event purposes you can so at http://www.change.org/p/cannabis-control-commission-allow-1-day-or-3-day-social-consumption-event-licenses-byoc-at-events.

Regulations will be finalized in March, the last public hearings in the first week of February. Stay updated.
