🙀Despite getting the green light from the Cannabis Control Commission to begin recreational marijuana sales in Hudson as soon as Saturday, Temescal Wellness won’t be able to open up shop just yet.
👨🏻✈️The Hudson Police Department issued a statement Wednesday afternoon saying that the dispensary at 252 Coolidge St. has not yet been authorized to open by local officials, though the company received final permission from the Cannabis Control Commission to open as early as Saturday.

🚌🚓The police department said Temescal has not yet submitted a traffic mitigation plan, which must be approved by town officials before the dispensary can open.

🗣”We want to ensure that Temescal Wellness has a strong plan in place to ensure that traffic impact is minimized and that public safety is guaranteed upon its opening,” Police Chief Michael Burks said in a statement. “We are committed to working with the business to ensure they have as smooth an opening as possible, but will not rush the opening at the expense of the public’s best interest.”
