A public hearing for Ashli’s Inc. was closed this week and zoning Chairman Todd Kobus said his goal is to bring the application to the full council at the next regular meeting on March 5.

If approved, as expected, owners Ashley and John Irving could then begin planning construction of their shop, a 3,520-square-foot building on a 1.1 acre parcel at 70 Frank Mossberg Drive.

lAshli’s Inc. already has a provisional license for the sale of recreational marijuana from the state’s Cannabis Control Commission.

The council also closed hearings on two other businesses owned by the Irvings, Ashli’s Extracts, which would manufacture marijuana products, and Ashli’s Farm, which would grow marijuana.

Both would be located at 76 Frank Mossberg Drive, which is next door to 70 Frank Mossberg.

A vote on the special permits for those businesses is expected on March 5.

Ashli’s Extracts and Ashli’s Farm both have provisional permits from the CCC.
