These events often provide opportunities to expand your network, access educational seminars, workshops, recreational gatherings, and festivals in Massachusetts. 1. Start A Weed Co-Op: Be Your Own Boss, Own Your Labor

Do you want to get into the cannabis industry, but lack money or resources? Gather friends and start a co-op: become your own boss and own your labor! Cooperatives are worker owned businesses. Marijuana cooperatives are licensed to cultivate, obtain, manufacture, process, package and brand cannabis or marijuana products to transport marijuana to Marijuana Establishments, but not to consumers.
Join MRCC and distinguished friends August 31 at Democracy Brewing for a lively discussion on co-ops in the #weed industry. If you've ever complained about big businesses gobbling up the cannabis industry, or a lack of people of color and women in leadership positions, or that the criminal expungement process is too slow, or the costs of recreational weed & taxes being too high--it's time to SHOW UP! As a citizen and a constituent, you are entitled to make your voice heard and speak your grievances directly to the Cannabis Control Commission. Tell them WHAT kind of industry you want and HOW you want them to create it. The Commission meets regularly in public locations throughout Boston & Massachusetts. It's never too late to come in person and advocate for yourself!

The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission has requested public feedback on promises 935 CMR 500: Adult-Use Cannabis Regulations. They will be hearing feedback on August 14 & 15, 2019.

3. Cannabis Grower's Association Monthly Meet-up

CGA is a non-profit organization working towards furthering education of Cannabis in the commonwealth of Massachusetts. The main objective of CGA is to educate its members on the benefits, uses, and methods of growing & consuming cannabis. CGA provides a space each month for like-minded members to come together and share their experiences, tricks, knowledge, and genetics with each other.

Please note this event is for members and registered guests. ID's will be checked at the door.

Membership for 2019 is another super value at only $40/year ($30/year renewal for 2018 members), Family plan $60/year for 2 members living in the same residence. Membership also includes great discounts from local businesses!
