Due to trains and buses coming out of the station, and the nearby highways, agency investigators will be able to maneuver around the state quickly from their headquarters, according to Jen Flanagan, a commissioner and a former state senator from Central Massachusetts.
“I think it’s going to be a great addition to that part of town,” she said.
The commission, which is temporarily next to the Massachusetts Gaming Commission in Boston’s Financial District, is also putting a Greater Boston satellite office a few blocks away in Downtown Crossing, at 50 Franklin Street.
The lease is also for 10 years and they plan to move in spring or summer 2019.
