About Us.

THE MASSACHUSETTS RECREATIONAL CONSUMER COUNCIL (MRCC), continuously works with local and state governmental bodies to develop racial equity to ensure the safety and well being of the general public, develop and advocate for state & municipal transformative justice policies, provide educational opportunities on equitable pathways towards a solidarity economy, and provide support for recreational consumers and workers alike.

MRCC CONDUCTS SUCH PURPOSE WITH ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS AS MAY BE CARRIED OUT BY A NONPROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER THE MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL LAWS CHAPTER 180 AND UNDER SECTION 501(C)(4) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE. THE CORPORATION WILL NOT ENGAGE IN ANY ACTIVITY THAT REQUIRES REGISTRATION WITH THE MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH.

Our purpose: Support a solidarity economy that centers the health of our most marginalized communities through public health, public safety, and cooperative education. Understanding the nature of cannabis as a plant psychedelic and dismantling the racist ideology through racial equity programs is a central part of our work. We work to ensure a safe equitable cannabis industry for the health and well being of our communities. Healthy consumers creates healthy communities.
